Our Managing Director and Co-Founder, Dane Spencer has been in the business of technology for over 13 years, with an educational background in Computer Science & Management Studies.

Dubbed a Mobile Consultant Expert based on his track record in the mobile application development arena, Dane has been invited to speak at numerous mobile conferences across the Caribbean including Digicel’s “Meet the Experts” in Jamaica, the TCI trade show in Turks & Caicos and the Trinidad Consumer Trade.

Boasting a wealth of management and leadership experience, our General Manager, Marcus, is proficient in transforming  businesses, as proven by his tenure with Guardsman Armoured Limited (the largest Cash-In-Transit company in Jamaica) and as the Head of Currency Analysis at the Central Bank of Jamaica.

Marcus has a keen eye for developing company processes and cultures to maximise efficiency, productivity and throughput; this has continued at SMS with an even greater drive to truly reach higher heights.

Boasting over 30 years experience in the global Telecommunications ICT industry, and over 25 years as a C-level Executive. Recently appointed CEO of eLearning Jamaica, Keith has led the turnaround of the Tablet in Schools Incentive, Tablets for Teachers and Laptops for Student Programmes.

Throughout his career he has successfully led the implementation of large, disruptive and innovative ICT Programmes and has held leadership roles with PA Consulting, Deloitte and Touche, Cable and Wireless, Air Jamaica and JPS.  He has also provided consulting services to several clients in the Caribbean.

Formerly our top Sales Representative, Kajha has now fully transitioned, after learning all aspects of the business, into our Operations Manager.

A driven individual, who has an unrelenting focus on customer experience, dedication to task, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills, she continually exceeds the mark at SMS and has built strong business relationships across the board. An effective leader excelling at streamling operations and increasing productivity, she is a true asset.

Hillary is a graduate of The University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology, and a wealth of knowledge gained in the field of Customer Service and Sales.

She has truly redefined the position of Software Programme Manager, with special expertise in requirements gathering. A true perfectionist and a natural technical being, she has been relentlessly effective with the leading of the development team and ensuring each customer’s project is completed beyond their expectations.

Diahann is our resident expert in risk management, corporate governance and customer assurance. She was previously the Business Auditor at Facey Commodity Company Limited, where she was responsible for annual audits, policy compliance reviews and evaluating the company’s risk management framework and risk mitigation practices.

Her training includes the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Jamaica Chapter in Enterprise Risk Management Elements of the Process, CIA Review Course Part I, IT Audit/ Security Essentials and IT Audit/ Security Essentials.

With over 10 years in the field of Human Resources and 8 of those years at the Management level, Charmaine’s experience spans several sectors, namely Tourism, Construction, Logistics, and IT. Charmaine is passionate about helping team members realize their full potential while being strategically aligned to the goals and objectives of the Company.

Charmaine’s leadership and interpersonal communication skills have significantly improved the entire team as she drives key HR best practices and initiatives, and provides HR Strategic direction for the Hudson and Spencer group.

A reliable, results oriented individual with over 20 years of solid experience in Strategic Marketing, General Management, Sales, Client Services and Business Development. She has managed across various industries including the Creative Industries, Financial, Insurance, Shipping, Auto Parts and Bill Payment.

Sasha possesses excellent Communications and Time management skills, and manages multiple projects simultaneously, within budget and timelines. She has contributed significantly to the profitability, development and growth of companies worked, providing them with a winning edge in a fiercely competitive marketplace.

Kadeen boasts over 6 years of professional experience in Supervisory Management in the Service industry and possesses excellent Customer Service, Communications and Time Management skills, which has boded well for the success of the Service Center.

She is an effective leader who teaches by example and has lead her team to great success, by implementing policies and procedures to increase accountability, efficiency, productivity, time management and responsiveness in an area that requires superb customer service skills.
